Sicily National Football Team
The Sicily national football team ( Sicilian: ''Naziunali Siciliana di Palluni'') is the representative football team of the island of Sicily. It is controlled by the ''Sicilia Football Association'' and is also colloquially referred to with the name ''Naziunali Siciliana''. The Sicilia F.A. was founded in 2020. It is not affiliated with either FIFA or UEFA and is therefore not allowed to participate in either the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship. However, since June 2021 the Sicilia F.A. is associated with the CONIFA, therefore the team can participate in the CONIFA World Football Cup and in the CONIFA European Football Cup. 2021 CONIFA No Limits Mediterranean Futsal Cup
The 2021 ConIFA No Limits Mediterranean Futsal Cup was the first futsal tournament organized by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations. It was hosted in Sanremo and won by the County of Nice national football team. Tournament The tournament was organized by the CONIFA No Limits area directed by Francesco Zema. Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. The Corsica national football team ( co, Squadra Corsa di Balò) is the unofficial football team for the island of Corsica, France. It is not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA. The selection has played against national teams thirteen times. In the past, the selection has also played against club teams, as in 1963 against Stade Reims, or Inter Milan in 2012. The match against Congo was organized by the CFA (Corsica Football Association). In order to be called up for the team, a player had to fulfil two conditions: having at least one parent or grandparent from Corsica and being a professional player or being part of a professional club. Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively.
