Shri Ram Centre For Performing Arts
Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts or SRC one of Delhi's best known theatres at Mandi House on Safdar Hasmi Marg, New Delhi, close to the Kendra, it is run by the Indian National Theatre Trust established in 1958 the promotion of Art and Culture, with people like Sheila Bharat Ram, Kamla Devi Chattopadhyay, Nandita Kriplani and Aditya Srivastava associated with it. The Centre runs a certified Two Year Acting Course. The SRCPA Theatre Repertory Company started in 1980 and Puppet Theatre company, which over the years saw the rise of modern puppetry under puppeteer Dadi Padamjee. Mandi House
Mandi House is a locality in Delhi, India. It was the former residence of the Raja of Mandi in Delhi. History In the 1940s, the 18th Raja of Mandi State, Raja Sir Joginder Sen Bahadur built his residence next to what is now ''Himachal Bhawan''. The estate was later sold and divided in the 1970s. Shiv Nath Prasad
Shiv Nath Prasad (1922–) was an Indian architect and urban planner known for his Brutalist architecture designs. He was also called the "Le Corbusier of India". Biography Shiv Nath was born in Varanasi, British India in 1922. His work is influenced by Le Corbusier, even though it is not completely clear if the two have ever worked together or not. His works include the Akbar Hotel in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, which was constructed between 1965 and 1969 with Mahendra Raj for the India Tourism Development Corporation. It has elements of Le Corbusier's ''Unité d'habitation''. The Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts was constructed from 1966–69 and Tibet House in 1970. Ebrahim Alkazi (18 October 1925 – 4 August 2020) was a Saudi Indian theatre director and drama teacher.
