Show Me The Money 9
The ninth season of the series Show Me the Money (South Korean TV series), ''Show Me the Money'' (known as ''Show Me the Money 9'' or ''SMTM9'') premiered on October 16, 2020, and ended on December 18, 2020. It was broadcast every Friday at 23:00 (KST) on Mnet (TV channel), Mnet. The season returned to four producing teams, after having featured only two in the Show Me the Money 8, previous season. Dynamic Duo (South Korean duo), Dynamic Duo & Bewhy, Paloalto (rapper), Paloalto & Code Kunst, Zion.T & Giriboy, and Justhis & GroovyRoom formed the producing teams for the season. The season saw approximately 23,000 applicants, the most in the show's history. However, fewer contestants were able to move on from the Rapper Selection Round compared to previous seasons, due to safety restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. GroovyRoom () is a South Korean Dj, DJ, Record producer, music producing and Composer, composing duo consisting of Park Gyu-jeong and Lee Hwi-min. They mainly produce hip-hop songs such as boom bap and Trap music, trap. The songs they produce have a producer tag called "Groovy Everywhere". GroovyRoom released their debut single "Loyalty" in 2016 and their first EP ''Everywhere'' in 2017. Dynamic Duo (; often stylized as Dynamicduo) is a South Korean hip hop duo that consists of rappers Choiza and Gaeko. They rose to fame with their 2004 debut album, ''Taxi Driver'', which became the best-selling Korean hip hop album ever. They are signed to Amoeba Culture, a hip hop record label that they founded in 2006. History Choiza and Gaeko were friends since childhood and debuted in 1999 with the hip hop trio CB Mass. Mirani (rapper)
Kim Yoon-jin (; born May 14, 1996), known professionally as Mirani (), is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. She first garnered attention when she appeared on the rap competition TV show ''Show Me the Money 9'' in 2020.
