Shorts In Motion
''Shorts in Motion: The Art of Seduction'' is a Canadian anthology of 10 original, two-minute mobile shorts for video cell phones, by directors, artists and personalities, including: Ann Marie Fleming, Mark McKinney, Guy Maddin, Isabella Rossellini, Theodore Ushev and Denis Villeneuve. The series is presented by Bravo!FACT and co-produced by marblemedia and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). It was one of the NFB's first ventures into mobile media. Mobile content is any type of web hypertext and information content and electronic media which is viewed or used on mobile phones, like text, sound, ringtones, graphics, flash, discount offers, mobile games, movies, and GPS navigation. Ann Marie Fleming is an independent Canadian filmmaker, writer, and visual artist. She was born in Okinawa, USCAR (nowadays Japan), in 1962 and is of Chinese, Ryukyuan and Australian descent. Her film '' Window Horses'' was released in 2016. Her animated biographical film ''The Magical Life of Long Tack Sam'' (2003) won Best Documentary at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and the Victoria Independent Film Festival. She is the great-granddaughter of the Chinese magician, acrobat and vaudeville performer Long Tack Sam. Background Fleming has a B.A. in English (Hon) from the University of British Columbia in 1984, and with a B.F.A.
