Shorts (2013 Film)
''Shorts'' is a compilation of five short films directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, Vasan Bala, Anubhuti Kashyap (Anurag Kashyap's sister), Shlok Sharma and Gitanjali Rao. The five short films titled ''Sujata'', ''Mehfuz'', ''Audacity'', ''Epilogue'', and ''Shor'' were released on 12 July 2013. Neeraj Ghaywan
Neeraj Ghaywan (born 1980) is an Indian film director and writer who works in Hindi films. He is the winner of several accolades including a National film Award and two Filmfare Awards. Ghaywan assisted filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on ''Gangs of Wasseypur'' (2012) and '' Ugly'' (2013) before he made his directorial debut in 2015 with ''Masaan'' which received wide acclaim and won two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival including the FIPRESCI prize. His acclaimed 2017 short film ''Juice'' won him the Filmfare Award for Best Short Film-Fiction. Ghaywan then co-directed the second season of Netflix's series '' Sacred Games'' with Kashyap in 2019 and ''Geeli Pucchi'' from the anthology film ''Ajeeb Daastaans'' in 2021. Gitanjali Rao (born 1972) is an Indian theatre actress, animator and film maker. Biography and career Gitanjali graduated as an applied artist from Sir. J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai, in 1994. Two animated short films independently produced and directed by her, ''Orange'' and 'Printed Rainbow'. Her debut animation short '' Printed Rainbow'' (2006) had won the Kodak Short Film Award, Small Golden Rail and the Young Critics Award at Critics Week section at Cannes in 2006. Shlok Sharma
Shlok Sharma is an Indian director, screenwriter and producer known for his works in Hindi cinema. His notable works include the 2013 anthology film Shorts, the 2017 feature film Haraamkhor and the 2018 feature film Zoo. Early career Shlok's father was a Yoga teacher to director Vishal Bhardwaj and lyricist Gulzar. After completing his higher secondary education, Shlok decided not to pursue education further and build a career in film-making. His father recommended him to Bhardwaj who hired him as a production assistant on his 2005 film, The Blue Umbrella. He then went on to work with Bhardwaj on his next film, Omkara.
