Shinee Discography
South Korean boy group Shinee, produced and managed by SM Entertainment, have released thirteen studio albums (two of which were split releases), four live albums, six extended plays (EPs) and forty singles. They have also participated in singing ten soundtracks for various Korean dramas and have been a part of SM Town's winter vacation album ''2011 Winter SMTown – The Warmest Gift'' and summer vacation album '' 2009 Summer SMTown – We Are Shining'' with other SM artists. Shinee debuted in May 2008 with their first EP, '' Replay'', which spawned the single of the same name. They later released their first studio album, ''The Shinee World'', which peaked at number three on the MIAK (Music Industry Association of Korea) chart and was re-released as ''Amigo'' (2008). Kim Jong-hyun (singer)
Kim Jong-hyun (; April 8, 1990 – December 18, 2017), known Mononymous person, mononymously as Jonghyun, was a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, radio host, and author under the SM Entertainment label. He was the vocalist of the South Korean boy band Shinee for nine years, releasing twelve albums with the group in both Korean and Japanese. He also participated in SM Entertainment's project group, SM the Ballad, for the release of two Extended play, EP albums. Jonghyun was also a solo artist, beginning in January 2015 with the release of his first EP album, ''Base (EP), Base''. 2009 Summer SMTown – We Are Shining
SM Town (stylized in all caps as SMTOWN) is a musical collective for the recording artists under South Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment. SM Town artists have performed at the annual SM Town Live world tours since the SM Town Live '08 Asia tour in 2008. Gaon Digital Chart
The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms, as well as video ringback tone sales from the V Coloring app. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. History The Gaon Digital Chart was launched as a part of the Gaon Chart in February 2010, by the Korea Music Content Association and South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Lucifer (Shinee Song)
"Lucifer" is a song by South Korean boy band Shinee. It was released on July 19, 2010, through SM Entertainment and served as the lead single for the album of the same name. An electronic song, "Lucifer" was composed and arranged by Yoo Young-jin, Ryan S. Jhun, Adam Kapit and Bebe Rexha, with lyrics penned by Yoo. The song was commercially successful, peaking at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart and selling over one million downloads in South Korea in 2010. The Circle Album Chart, previously known as the Gaon Album Chart, is a record chart ranking the 100 most popular albums, extended plays and single albums in South Koreabased on their Record sales, physical sales. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. It compiles shipments in weekly, monthly, and year-end formats with detailed album sales. History The Gaon Album Chart was launched as a part of the Gaon Chart in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association and South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (South Korea), Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. ''2009, Year of Us'' is the third extended play (EP) by South Korean boy group Shinee. It consists of six tracks and it incorporates alternative rock and hip-hop music genres. The digital version of the album was released on October 19, 2009, with a physical release on October 22. The title track, " Ring Ding Dong", was released on October 14, 2009, through various music sites. Songs The EP contains six songs, including the title track "Ring Ding Dong", which is an afro-electro song that combines the beat of African congo drums with the sound of an electro synthesizer. ''Romeo'' () is the second EP by South Korean boy group Shinee. It was released on May 25, 2009, in South Korea under the seal of the label SM Entertainment. The EP consists of six tracks including the title song "Juliette" and is Shinee's first Korean release after a seven-month hiatus. On August 29, 2011, a Japanese version of "Juliette" was released as Shinee's second Japanese single with the original Japanese song "Kiss Kiss Kiss" as a B-side.
