It was released by Epic Records on November 13, 1995, as the third single from Jackson's ninth studio album, '' HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I'' (1995). "Earth Song" is a ballad that incorporates elements of blues, gospel and opera. Smooth Radio is a network of local radio stations broadcasting on FM and DAB in the United Kingdom. It no longer broadcasts any outlets on AM since the last outlet on medium wave ceased at 1:00pm on Friday 28th February 2025.
