Sheyla Gutiérrez
Sheyla Gutiérrez Ruiz (born 1 January 1994) is a Spanish racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. In November 2015 she was announced as part of the inaugural squad for the team for the 2016 season. Challenge By La Vuelta
The Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta (La Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta before 2020) is an elite women's professional bicycle race held in Spain, and has been part of the UCI Women's WorldTour since 2016. Similar to La Course by Le Tour de France, the race has traditionally coincided with the final day of the Vuelta a España. The race was first held as a one-day road race in the centre of Madrid from 2015. From 2018 onwards, a time trial was held as a first stage, albeit within the Madrid region. In 2020, a third day of racing was added and the race was renamed as the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta - after sponsor Ceratizit, and as stages were held outside the borders of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. The 2021 edition increased the number of stages to 4, with the race finishing in Santiago de Compostela. The 2017 Giro d'Italia Femminile, or 2017 Giro Rosa, was the 28th running of the Giro d'Italia Femminile, the only remaining women's Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tour. It was held between 30 June and 9 July 2017 as the most prestigious race stage, stage race of both the 2017 UCI Women's World Tour and the 2017 in women's road cycling, women's calendar. Le Samyn
Le Samyn is an annual single-day road bicycle race in Belgium, held usually in late February or early March. The event was created in 1968 as ''Grand Prix de Fayt-le-Franc'', named after the former municipality where it started and finished. In 1970 it was renamed ''Grand Prix José Samyn'' as a tribute to José Samyn, the race's first winner who died in a race accident in 1969. Johan Capiot holds the record with three wins. 2016 UCI Road World Championships
The 2016 UCI Road World Championships took place in Doha, Qatar, in October 2016. The championships was moved from the traditional September to October to avoid extreme hot and blustery weather. The event consisted of a road race, a team time trial and a time trial for elite men and women and a road race and a time trial for men under-23, junior men and junior women. It was the 89th Road World Championships and the first time that Qatar and the Middle East hosted the championships. Bidding Qatar was announced as the host during the 2012 UCI Road World Championships in the Netherlands. Norway also made a bid but was unsuccessful. 2016 UCI Road World Championships – Women's Road Race
The Women's road race of the 2016 UCI Road World Championships took place in and around Doha, Qatar on 15 October 2016. The course of the race was with the start and finish in Doha. Lizzie Deignan was the defending champion, having won the world title in 2015. Deignan was unable to defend her title, as she finished fourth in the bunch sprint finish. The gold medal and rainbow jersey went to 20-year-old Danish rider Amalie Dideriksen, who became the youngest rider in a decade to win the title, and only the fifth rider to win both the junior and elite world titles, having won the junior title in 2013 and 2014. The 2015 La Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta was held on 13 September 2015, in Madrid, Spain. It coincided with the final day of the 2015 Vuelta a España, and was scheduled a few hours before the conclusion to the men's race. It was the first edition of La Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta.
