Sherrill is a town in Plum Bayou Township, Jefferson County, Arkansas, United States. Its population was 84 at the 2010 U.S. census. It is included in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Sherrill is located at (34.3853740, -91.9506940). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 km (0.1 mi2), all land. Demographics As of the census of 2010, there were 84 people, 37 households, and 25 families residing in the town. The population density was 347.5/km (895.9/mi2). There were 54 housing units at an average density of 148.9/km (384.0/mi2). The racial makeup of the town was 44.0% White and 56.0% Black or African American. Sherrill Roland is an African-American artist best known for his The Jumpsuit Project, a performance-arts based project that challenges viewers to face the prejudices and judgements surrounding those incarcerated. Early life and education Artist Sherrill Roland was born in 1984 in Asheville, North Carolina. In 2009, he received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In 2013, while Sherrill Roland was a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, he was wrongfully accused of four felonies. Before an indictment was reached, he finished his first year of grad school. After nine months, the four felony charges were dropped to four misdemeanor charges. This caused Roland’s case to be presented only in front of a judge, rather than with a jury as well. He was deemed guilty and served 10 months and two weeks at the D.C. Central Detention Facility. Sherrill Levitt
The Springfield Three refers to an unsolved missing persons case that began on June 7, 1992, when friends Suzanne "Suzie" Streeter and Stacy McCall, and Streeter's mother, Sherrill Levitt, went missing from Levitt's home in Springfield, Missouri, United States. All of their personal belongings, including cars and purses, were left behind. There were no signs of a struggle except a broken porch light globe; there was also a message on the answering machine that police believe might have provided a clue about the disappearances, but it was inadvertently erased. In 1997, Robert Craig Cox, a convicted kidnapper and robber, claimed that he knew the women had been murdered and that their bodies would never be recovered. Neither their whereabouts nor their remains have ever been discovered. No investigators in the case believe Cox has any credibility. Sherrill Kester Sherrill Kester Dempsey (born Sherrill Lyles Kester; March 7, 1978) is an American former professional soccer player. A midfielder, she represented the San Diego Spirit of Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) and won three caps for the United States national team. Club career Kester played for USL W-League team Raleigh Wings in 2000. She was the San Diego Spirit's second round draft pick, ahead of the inaugural 2001 season of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA). In the league's first two seasons, Kester featured in 40 of the Spirit's 42 regular season games, contributing one goal and two assists. She was sent to the New York Power in September 2002, as part of a five-player trade. Having got married in the off-season, Kester refused to go to New York.
