''Sher-E-Hindustan'' is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by T. L. V. Prasad, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Sanghavi, Hemant Birje, Gavin Packard, Puneet Issar, Hemant Ravan and Gulshan Grover. Plot Honest police inspector Kranti Kumar takes charge of a police station in a small village where mafia don Choudhary Charannath and his gang terrorizes the villagers. Kranti takes hard steps against them. A village girl Naina falls in love with Kranti and after a while Kranti also reciprocates her feelings. A fight starts between Kranti and Choudhury's henchmen, and at last, Kranti defeats Charannath and kills him. Sher-e-Hind
The Sher-e-Hind (Tiger of India) was the highest military decoration awarded by the Imperial Japanese supported Azad Hind Government, established in Singapore in 1943. First instituted by Subhas Chandra Bose in Nazi Germany, this award was later also awarded to troops of the Indian National Army in South East Asia. The award could be conferred with swords for valour in combat, and without swords for non-combat awards. At least three awards were made, to Captain Baru Singh, Captain Kunwal Singh and one to Capt Ganeshi Lal.Hindustan Times

Ranjit Singh
Ranjit Singh (13 November 1780 – 27 June 1839) was the founder and first maharaja of the Sikh Empire, in the northwest Indian subcontinent, ruling from 1801 until his death in 1839. Born to Maha Singh, the leader of the Sukerchakia Misl, Ranjit Singh survived smallpox in infancy but lost sight in his left eye. At the age of ten years old, he fought his first battle alongside his father. After his father died around Ranjit's early teenage years, he became leader of the Misl. Ranjit was the most prominent of the Sikh leaders who opposed Zaman Shah, the ruler of Durrani Empire, during his third invasion. After Zaman Shah's retreat in 1799, he captured Lahore from the Sikh triumvirate which had been ruling it since 1765. At the age of 21, he was formally crowned at Lahore. Asiatic Lion
The Asiatic lion is a lion population of the subspecies ''Panthera leo leo''. Until the 19th century, it occurred in Saudi Arabia, eastern Turkey, Iran, Mesopotamia, and from east of the Indus River in Pakistan to the Bengal region and the Narmada River in Central India. Since the turn of the 20th century, its range has been restricted to Gir National Park and the surrounding areas in the Indian state of Gujarat. The first scientific description of the Asiatic lion was published in 1826 by the Austrian zoologist Johann N. Meyer, who named it ''Felis leo persicus''. The population has steadily increased since 2010. In 2015, the 14th Asiatic Lion Census was conducted over an area of about ; the lion population was estimated at 523 individuals, and in 2017 at 650 individuals.
