''She and I'' (Spanish: ''Ella y Yó'') is a 1951 Mexican romantic comedy drama film directed by Miguel M. Delgado and starring Pedro Armendáriz, Miroslava and Francisco Fuentes. Riera p.76 It was shot at the Clasa Studios in Mexico City. The film's sets were designed by the art director Gunther Gerszo. It is part of the tradition of Ranchera films. Miguel Aceves Mejía
Miguel Aceves Mejía (15 November 1915 – 6 November 2006) was a Mexican actor, composer and singer. Miguel Aceves Mejía, or "the god of Ranchera" as he was popularly known, was born in El Paso, Texas, and was registered in Chihuahua City in the state of Chihuahua. He became a popular Mexican film star during its golden age and was widely regarded for his interpretations of various Mexican musical genres, particularly the ranchera. Originally part of a traveling theater company, Aceves began recording for the first time in 1938 with the trio ''Los Porteños''. At the beginning of his career he interpreted mainly boleros, and Mexican Rancheras rhythms. During his career he recorded more than 1600 songs on 140 discs and starred in 64 films. Ángel Infante Cruz (Acaponeta, Nayarit, México; 1 October 1914 – Ciudad de México 15 December 1987) was a popular Mexican actor and singer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He appeared in more than 120 films, 47 of which were great successes. In more than 30 films he appeared alongside his younger brother, the actor and singer Pedro Infante, who died in an aviation accident in 1957. Enrique García Álvarez (actor)
Enrique García Álvarez (1896–1971) was a Spanish-Mexican actor. Early life and career García Álvarez was born in Langreo, Asturias in 1896. He began his career in 1922. In 1938, near the end of the Spanish Civil War, he fled to Paris, France, where he was helped by Maurice Chevalier, with which help he went into exile Mexico, where he would establish and live until shortly before his death. He debuted in the cinema in Mexico in 1940, where he would work with Cantinflas and Luis Buñuel in the latter's Mexican phase. He founded the magazine ''La Voz del Actor'' and received the Diosas de Plata award (from the Cinematographic Journalists of Mexico, PECIME) for his role in Buñuel's ''The Exterminating Angel'' (1962).Arjona, p. 115. Eduardo Alcaraz
Alfredo Vergara Morales (13 April 1915 – 18 April 1987), best known by the stage name Eduardo Alcaraz, was a Chilean-Mexican actor. Born in Santiago, he was based in Mexico since 1951. He appeared in films such as '' Escuela de rateros'' (1958) alongside Pedro Infante. He also worked as voice actor in many movies and cartoons. In 1949, while working at Radio Quito in Ecuador, he participated in an adaptation of ''The War of the Worlds'', similar to how Orson Welles had done a decade earlier in the United States. Alcaraz was in charge of the script of this new version, which like Welles's version represented the events narrated as if it were a true transmission. When it was revealed that it was a fictional story, a crowd made their way to the '' El Comercio'' newspaper building, where the radio worked, and set it on fire. Six people died.
