Shaun Williams (American Football)
Shaun LeJon Williams (born October 10, 1976) is an American college football coach and former professional player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the New York Giants. He is the head football coach for William Paterson University, a position he held on an interim basis in 2021 and full-time since 2022. He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, earning second-team All-American honors in 1997. Early life Williams attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California and played both tailback and safety. He won All-CIF Division I and Del Rey League MVP in his last two seasons of his high school career. Shaun Williams is a DJ and jazz dancer from Birmingham, United Kingdom, notable for his pioneering role in the UK's jazz fusion and electro music scenes. Shaun Williams (born 19 October 1986) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is first-team coach at club Welling United. During his professional career he played for Drogheda United, Finn Harps, Sporting Fingal, MK Dons, Millwall, Portsmouth, Gillingham and ended his career with Eastbourne Borough. He represented the Republic of Ireland national team at various levels, gaining three caps for the senior team in 2018. Shaun Williams (born 13 April 1998) is a South African rugby union player. Williams hails from a small community of Mooinooi on the platinum belt in the North West province. He attended Garsfontein High School in Pretoria on a bursary as a boarder. He was signed by the Golden Lions and he played for them at U19 and U21 levels, before making his senior debut for the team in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge. Williams was first called into the Blitzbok South African sevens squad in September 2021. Williams played in the 2022 Commonwealth Games where South Africa won the gold medal. Shaun Phillip Williams (born December 5, 1976, in Pretoria) is a retired amateur South African freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. Williams has claimed three medals (two silver and one bronze) at the All-Africa Games, picked up a bronze in the 55-kg division at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, and later represented his nation South Africa, as a lone wrestler, at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Williams also trained for the University of Oregon's freestyle wrestling team, under his coach Pat Whidcomb, while studying and attending college in the United States.
