Early life and education He was born on 1 July 1959 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He completed his early education from Gordon College, Rawalpindi. He then went to the University of the Punjab for LLB and MBA. Judicial career He started his career as an advocate of district courts in 1988. He was elevated to the advocate of High Court in 1990 and advocate of Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2001. He won the election in 2011 and became President of High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi. Shaukat Aziz ( ur, ; born 6 March 1949) is a Pakistani former banker and financier who served as 17th prime minister of Pakistan from 28 August 2004 to 15 November 2007, as well as the finance minister of Pakistan from 6 November 1999 to 15 November 2007. During his childhood he studied at St Patrick's High School, Karachi. Aziz graduated from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, and joined the corporate staff of the CitiBank Pakistan in 1969.
