Shanti (TV Series)
''Shanti - Ek Ghar Ki Kahani (transl. Shanti - Story of a home)'' is an Indian television series that aired on DD National in 1994. The series stars Mandira Bedi as Shanti. Plot Every character has a past and has something hidden, it all gets revealed when Shanti, an aspiring journalist hoping to write the biographies of Kamesh and Raj, arrives. The duo only approve of a movie when it is appreciated by the servants of the house and tell of how they went from rags to riches. Then are shown the family members, Kamesh's eldest son Ramesh is mentally challenged. Younger son Somesh is a failing director struggling over the script which gets rejected even by his own father. His wife Ayesha is the daughter of a film producer whose career was ruined by the duo. His adopted daughter Nidhi was revealed to be the illegitimate daughter of Kamesh. Anup Soni
Anup Soni (born 30 January 1975) is an Indian actor and anchor. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. Soni began his career with roles in television serials such as '' Sea Hawks'' and '' Saaya''. He then took a break from television to work in films. Amar Talwar
Amar Talwar (born 21 December 1949) is an Indian artist and Bollywood actor. He appeared in the historic television series '' Shanti'', in which he played Raj 'G.J.' Singh. Born to a Sikh family on 21 December 1949, Talwar was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar, along with his brother Rana Talwar. Before becoming an actor Talwar worked as a photojournalist. Aman Yatan Verma (born 11 October 1971) is an Indian television anchor and actor.
