Shahre Qods
Qods () is a city in the Central District (Qods County), Central District of Qods County, Tehran province, Tehran province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Demographics Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 229,354 in 60,331 households, when it was capital of the former Qods District of Shahriar County. The following census in 2011 counted 283,517 people in 83,035 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Qods County. The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 309,605 people in 94,532 households. Higher education The city has three universities: Islamic Azad University, Shahr-e-Qods Branch, Islamic Azad University, Shahr-eQods Branch, University of Applied Science and Technology, Shahr-e-Qods Branch and Payam-e-Nour university. Shahr-e Qods Stadium
Shohada-ye Shahr-e Qods Stadium (, ''Vârzeshgah-e Shohada-ye Shahr-e Qods'') is a Association football, football stadium in Shahr-e Qods, Tehran province, Iran with a 10,000 seating capacity. In addition to a lack of interest from other teams playing their home games in this city, the stadium was not used many times. In 2013 Paykan F.C., Paykan moved from Tehran to Shahr-e Qods. They played all their home games in the 2013–14 Azadegan League season in this Stadium. Paykan F
The Paykan ( meaning ''Arrow'') is the first Iranian-made car produced by Iran Khodro, between 1967 and 2005. The car, formerly called "Iran National", is a licensed version of the British Rootes Arrow (Hillman Hunter) and was very popular in Iran from its introduction until its discontinuation. The Paykan spawned some locally developed variants, most notably a pickup named Bardo and having a different body shell from the one sold elsewhere. The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. Iran Standard Time (IRST) or Iran Time (IT) is the time zone used in Iran. Iran uses a UTC offset UTC+03:30. IRST is defined by the 52.5 degrees east meridian, the same meridian which defines the Iranian calendar and is the official meridian of Iran.
