Orville Richard Burrell (born October 22, 1968), known professionally as Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae musician who scored hits with the songs "It Wasn't Me", "Boombastic (song), Boombastic", "In the Summertime#Shaggy version, In the Summertime", "Oh Carolina#Shaggy version, Oh Carolina", and "Angel (Shaggy song), Angel". He has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, winning twice for Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album, Best Reggae Album with ''Boombastic'' in 1996 and ''44/876'' with Sting (musician), Sting in 2019, and has won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist in 2002. Joseph William Utsler (; born October 14, 1974), known by his stage name Shaggy 2 Dope, is an American rapper, actor, record producer and professional wrestler. He is part of the hip hop duo Insane Clown Posse. He is the co-founder of the record label Psychopathic Records, with fellow Insane Clown Posse rapper Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and their former manager, Alex Abbiss. Along with Bruce, Utsler is the co-founder of the professional wrestling promotion Juggalo Championship Wrestling, where he currently acts as color commentator. Jaime "Shaggy" Flores (born 1973) is a Nuyorican poet, writer and African Diaspora scholar who forms part of the Nuyorical literary movement. Early years Shaggy Flores, was born and raised in Spanish Harlem, New York City, as well as in Puerto Rico and Springfield, Massachusetts. He received his primary and secondary education in Puerto Rico and Massachusetts. As a child, growing up in Robinson Gardens Housing Projects, he was heavily exposed to the work of the early Nuyorican poets, his mother being a poet herself. Later in junior high and high school, he showed proficiency in writing and creating short stories that depicted the Puerto Rican experience. He graduated from the High School of Commerce and eventually met a recruiter for the University of Massachusetts Amherst (BCP Program) who helped him continue his studies. José Joaquín Martínez Valadez (born 22 February 1987) is a former Mexican professional footballer who last played as a right-back. His nickname is ''Shaggy'', as he bears a resemblance to the Scooby-Doo character, Shaggy. Club career Martínez played 38 Primera División matches for Club América before being released in 2012.
