Shabbar Zaidi
Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi is a Pakistani chartered accountant who served as the 26th Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue from May 2019 till April 2020. Previously, he served as a provincial Minister in the Government of Sindh during the 2013 caretaker setup. He was the territory partner of PwC Pakistan. He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and also served as president of the Institute for 2005–2006. He had been working with A. F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of PwC since 1969 and currently working as Senior Partner there. Among his non-profit work, he is a trustee of Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) and member of Boards of Governors of Liaquat National Hospital and Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL). The Government of Sindh ( sd, حڪومت سنڌ) ( ur, ) is the provincial government of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution, in which 30 Districts of 7 Divisions under its authority and jurisdiction. The province's head is the Chief Secretary is appointed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan ( ur, , ICAP) is a professional accountancy body in Pakistan. As of 2022, it has over 8,000 members working in and outside Pakistan. The institute was established on July 1, 1961 to regulate the profession of accountancy in Pakistan. It is a statutory autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. With the significant growth in the profession, the CA Ordinance and By-Laws were revised in 1983. Sindh Institute Of Urology & Transplantation
The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) is a dialysis & kidney transplant centre located in Pakistan. SIUT was founded by Dr. Adibul Hasan Rizvi and it is Pakistan's largest kidney disease center, as well as Pakistan's largest public sector health organisation. It began as a department of urology at the government-run Civil Hospital in 1970 and became autonomous in 1991. Ten to twelve transplants are performed weekly, and in 2003, doctors at SIUT performed Pakistan's first liver transplant. In 2004, a child care unit was opened.
