Servant of the People (; ''SN'') is a liberal, centrist, pro-European political party in Ukraine. Since both the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election and the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election, it has been the ruling political party in Ukraine. It is best known for being the political party of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The party is named after the popular Ukrainian TV series ''Servant of the People'', in which Zelenskyy played a fictional Ukrainian president. Olena Oleksiivna Shuliak (; born 24 January 1976) is a Ukrainian politician who has been serving as Leader of Servant of the People (political party), Servant of the People since 2021. Shuliak has also been a People's Deputy of Ukraine, People's Deputy, after having elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019. The European Conservatives, Patriots & Affiliates (ECPA) group is a conservative group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. It was founded as the Group of Independent Representatives in 1970 by British and Scandinavian members of PACE. It has 76 members from countries including the United Kingdom, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Sweden and Italy. It was known as the European Democrat Group until its renaming in 2014, the European Conservatives Group until 2019, and the European Conservatives Group and Democratic Alliance (EC/DA) until 2025. Kvartal 95 Studio (; ) is a Ukrainian production company founded in 2003 by Volodymyr Zelenskyy (who later became President of Ukraine) alongside Serhiy and Boris Shefir. Parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, the elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The elections resulted in an outright majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party, which won 254 seats. Presidential elections were held in Ukraine on 31 March 2019. As none of the 39 candidates on the ballot received an absolute majority of the initial vote, a runoff was held on 21 April between the top two vote-getters: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a television personality, and Petro Poroshenko, the incumbent president.
