''Sermons of the Sinner'' is the debut album by English band KK's Priest, formed by former Judas Priest guitarist K. K. Downing and featuring that band's interim vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, released on 1 October 2021 through EX1 Records and Cleopatra Records. Critical reception Chad Bowar of ''Metal Injection'' observed that "as you would expect", the album "is very similar to Judas Priest" with tracks that are "pretty focused". Bowar concluded that Downing has "delivered a debut album that celebrates metal's past while still looking to the future". Both Bowar and Steve Beebee of ''Kerrang!'' were critical of the length of "Metal Through and Through", with Beebee going on to say the album "feels less like an alternative and more like a supplement to Judas Priest, small variations on very similar themes. KK's Priest
KK's Priest are an English heavy metal band, formed by former Judas Priest guitarist, K. K. Downing in 2019. History Downing left Judas Priest in 2011, citing "an on-going breakdown in working relationships between myself, elements of the band and management for some time." He did not perform live again until 2019, when he played at Bloodstock Open Air festival with former Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss. He also played a one off show in Wolverhampton on 3 November 2019, along with former Judas Priest members Tim "Ripper" Owens (vocals) and Les Binks (drums), then-current Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and Hostile guitarist A.J. Mills. In January 2020, Downing signed with Explorer1 Music Group, which would pair him with veteran manager Andy Gould, and announced that he would work on brand-new music. The Sinner Rides Again
''The Sinner Rides Again'' is the second studio album by English band KK's Priest, formed by former Judas Priest guitarist K. K. Downing. It was released on 29 September 2023 through Napalm Records. Four singles preceded the album, including the lead single "One More Shot at Glory". Critical reception Dom Lawson, reviewing the album for ''Blabbermouth.net'', wrote that "it helps that like its predecessor, ''The Sinner Rides Again'' is an absolutely ripping metal record, with a huge, gleaming production job and performances that crackle with passion and intensity". Lawson singled out the vocal performance of Tim "Ripper" Owens as "his partnership with Downing takes him to new heights here". Judas Priest
Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million albums and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Tim "Ripper" Owens
Timothy S. "Ripper" Owens (born September 13, 1967) is an American heavy metal singer who currently performs with KK's Priest, Spirits of Fire, the Three Tremors and "The Tim Ripper Monster Energy Big Band". He first gained attention as the lead singer of Judas Priest and then Iced Earth. He took the nickname "Ripper" from the Judas Priest song "The Ripper" during his time in the tribute band British Steel. Like his predecessor in Judas Priest, Owens has been noted for his powerful and wide ranging operatic vocal style. Tony Newton (30 November) is an English bassist, recording engineer and record producer, most active in Heavy metal music, heavy metal and hard rock genres. He is the current bassist of KK's Priest and Voodoo Six. He has also produced and/or engineered releases from Iron Maiden and British Lion (band), British Lion.
