Sel Belsham
Selwyn Eric Belsham (28 September 1930 – 11 March 2016) was a New Zealand rugby league player who represented New Zealand at the 1957 World Cup. His position of preference was at . He also played cricket for Auckland. His brother Vic was also a New Zealand national rugby league team representative. Vic later became a referee, controlling his brother's team in the 1957 World Cup. Their father Alf represented Auckland in rugby union. Sporting career Rugby league An Auckland representative, Belsham played for the Richmond club in the Auckland Rugby League competition. He represented the North Island on three occasions, in 1955, 1956 and 1957. Belsham represented the New Zealand national rugby league team, playing 10 consecutive test matches between 1955 and 1957. Sel Hannah
Selden J. Hannah (November 9, 1913 – August 31, 1991) was an intercollegiate, US F.I.S. and seniors ski champion who became one of the nation's most prolific ski-area architects. He was enshrined in the National Ski Hall of Fame in Ishpeming, Michigan, in 1968. His legacy remains throughout New England and North America in more than 250 ski areas with which he was associated during his lifetime. Early years Selden Hannah, better known as Sel, was born in 1913 in Berlin, New Hampshire, a lumber and paper mill town populated by a colony of Norwegians, who brought their own skis and jumping tradition from their homeland. The Nansen Ski Club built a 45-meter ski jump near Berlin in Paine's Pasture that Sel mastered by age eight. Selwyn Sydney Lisle (29 April 1921 – 26 March 1999) was an Australian rugby league player, a first-grade New South Wales Rugby League premiership winning halfback who played in the 1940s who made a number of New South Wales representative appearances. Lisle played for the Eastern Sububs club from 1940–42 and 1944–47. Playing career A halfback, Lisle was a member of Easts' premiership winning sides of the 1940 NSWRFL season. He was the 1941 NSWRFL season's top try scorer with 13 tries and played in the Easts side that finished runner up that year. In 1942, Lisle was a City Firsts Representative. The second world war interrupted his playing career. Lisle enlisted in the Australian Army in 1942, as a gunner. He was discharged in April 1945 and he resumed his playing career at Eastern Suburbs. Norman Selwyn 'Sel' Murray (23 November 1917 – 29 May 1992) was an Australian rules footballer who played with the North Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1937 to 1944 and then for the Richmond Football Club The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers or colloquially the Tiges, is a professional Australian rules football team competing in the Australian Football League (AFL).
