The Seivika–Tømmervåg Ferry is a ferry service on County Road 680 across the Talgsjø channel in the Nordmøre district in the Norwegian county of Møre og Romsdal. It connects the Seivika ferry dock on the island of Nordlandet in the municipality of Kristiansund to the Tømmervåg ferry dock on the island of Tustna in the municipality of Aure. The route is operated by the transport conglomerate Fjord1. The duration of the passage is 25 minutes, and the route is served by MF ''Bjørnsund'' and MF ''Stordal'' with 32 departures per day in each direction every day. The route was served by MF ''Glutra'' from 2002 to 2010, when the vessel was damaged by a fire. Fjord1 ASA is a Norwegian transport conglomerate, one of the largest in the Norwegian transport sector. Formed in 2001, company headquarters are in Florø, with the headquarters of the ferry division in Molde. It operates a fleet of environmentally friendly vessels in the Norwegian fjords. Norwegian County Road 680
Norwegian County Road 680 ( no, Fylkesvei 680) is a road in the municipalities of Kristiansund and Aure in Møre og Romsdal county and Heim in Trøndelag county, Norway. In addition to its land length ( in Møre og Romsdal and in Trøndelag), the route also includes the Seivika–Tømmervåg Ferry across the Talgsjø channel. The route starts in Øygarden in Kristiansund, where it branches off from European route E70, and runs west to Seivika, from which there is a ferry to Tømmervåg on the island of Tustna. It then takes a meandering coastal route eastward through the municipality of Aure to Svanem in Trøndelag, where it turns south and runs through Kyrksæterøra before meeting European route E39 in Stormyra, just outside Vinjeøra. Nordmøre (English: North- Møre) is a traditional district in the Norwegian county of Møre og Romsdal. The area comprises the northern third of the county including the municipalities of Kristiansund, Averøy, Tingvoll, Surnadal, Aure, Halsa, Eide, Sunndal, Gjemnes, and Smøla. The only town in Nordmøre is Kristiansund. Nordlandet is an island in Kristiansund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located just east of the city center of Kristiansund, and is one of the boroughs of the city. The island is home to Kristiansund Airport, Kvernberget, which is named after the nearby tall mountain Kvernberget. This is the largest of the islands that make up the city of Kristiansund (the others being Kirkelandet, Innlandet, and Skorpa). Tustna (island)
Tustna is an island in Aure Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island lies in the western part of the municipality. The island of Tustna lies west of the islands of Stabblandet and Solskjelsøya; to the northeast of the islands of Frei and Nordlandet; and south of the island of Smøla. The Edøyfjorden runs along the northern shores of the island, the Vinjefjorden (and Halsafjorden) are to the south, the Freifjorden is to the southwest, the Talgsjøen is to the west, and the open Norwegian Sea is to the northwest.
