''Seeds'' is a 2024 Canadian comedy thriller film, written and directed by Kaniehtiio Horn.Eve Cable"Kaniehtiio Horn makes directorial debut" ''The Eastern Door'', July 31, 2023. The film stars Horn as Ziggy, a young Mohawk people, Mohawk woman trying to establish herself as a social media influencer; after she is offered a contract with a seed company, she is summoned home by her cousin to housesit while her family is out of town, only to have to battle someone who is trying to steal crops from the family garden. The film, Horn's directorial debut, was described by Horn as a "home invasion comedy" inspired by ''Home Alone'' and ''Shaun of the Dead''. Kaniehtiio Alexandra Jessie Horn ( Batt; ; born November 8, 1986), sometimes credited as Tiio Horn, is a Canadian actress and filmmaker. She was nominated for a Gemini Award for her role in the television film '' Moccasin Flats: Redemption'' and she has appeared in the films ''The Trotsky'', ''Leslie, My Name Is Evil'', and '' The Wild Hunt'', as well as the streaming television horror series '' Hemlock Grove'' and the sitcoms '' 18 to Life'', ''Letterkenny'' and ''Reservation Dogs''. Early life Horn was born in Ottawa and grew up in Ottawa and on the Kahnawake Mohawk reserve outside of Montreal. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review aggregator, review-aggregation website for film and television. ''The Brandon Sun'' is a Monday through Saturday newspaper printed in Brandon, Manitoba. It is the primary newspaper of record for western Manitoba and includes substantial political, crime, business and sports news. ''The Brandon Sun'' also publishes a weekly Westman This Week edition featuring local columns and events listings that is distributed free to the entire city. It was founded by Will White, with the first edition being printed on January 19, 1882. After some time under a board of directors, J.B.
