"See Tình" (; pronounced in or translates to "See Love" in English) is a song by Vietnamese singer Hoàng Thùy Linh, released in 2022 as the second single from her fourth studio album ''Link''. The Cucak remix of "See Tình" went viral on TikTok through its use in dance covers. Composition The song was composed and arranged by the group DTAP and takes inspiration from the culture of the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam. Thùy Linh commented that the song was inspired by her first time falling in love as a teenager. The song was written in two hours and recorded in just two days. "See Tình" is a pun on the Vietnamese word " si tình", which means "to fall in love" or "madly in love". The song is described as having a disco-pop and dance-pop style and has a retro vibe with a pentatonic-sounding chorus that takes the listener along the West River with a cải lương piece. Hoàng Thùy Linh (born August 11, 1988) is a Vietnamese V-pop singer and actress. Early years As a former student of Hanoi's College of Art, she was trained to be an actress. Thùy Linh had also joined girlband ''Thien Than'' (Angels). During her teenage years, Thùy Linh was a presenter for HanoiTV's game show for children ''Vui Cùng Hugo''. She was famous as a teenager, winning Hoa Học Trò's ICON contest in 2006, and by participating in many TV commercials and adverts as well as being on magazine covers for teenagers. The name is a cognate with the Chinese ''qián'' (錢), a unit of weight called " mace" in English. ''Tuồng cải lương'' (, Hán-Nôm: 從改良) often referred to as cải lương (Chữ Hán: 改良), roughly "reformed theater") is a form of modern folk opera in Vietnam. A pentatonic scale is a musical scale with five notes per octave, in contrast to the heptatonic scale, which has seven notes per octave (such as the major scale and minor scale).
