''Seasons of War'' is the first film directed by Seda Eğridere. The script was written by Eğridere and Mark Harley. Production for ''Seasons of War'' took place in Sarajevo in July 2014, and the film was scheduled to premiere at the 2015 Sarajevo Film Festival. Seda Eğridere
Seda Eğridere (born March 16, 1982) is a Turkish actress and film director. Eğridere acted in ''Alina, the Turkish Assassin''. In an interview with Hurriyet, Bobby Roth said "I accepted the project and agreed to shoot in Turkey only because I trusted Seda." In 2014, Eğridere made her directorial debut with the wartime drama ''Seasons of War'', a story about a multi-ethnic couple during the Siege of Sarajevo. The Sarajevo Film Festival is the premier and largest film festival in Southeast Europe, and is one of the largest film festivals in Europe. It was founded in Sarajevo in 1995 during the siege of Sarajevo in the Bosnian War, and brings international and local Celebrity, celebrities to Sarajevo every year. 2014 Southeast Europe Floods
Between 13 and 18 May 2014 a low-pressure cyclone designated ''Tamara'' and ''Yvette'' affected a large area of Southeastern and Central Europe, causing floods and landslides. Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina suffered the greatest damage, as the rain was the heaviest in 120 years of recorded weather measurements. By 20 May, at least 62 people had died as a result of the flooding, and hundreds of thousands had been forced from their homes. Towns of Obrenovac in Serbia and Doboj in Bosnia and Herzegovina account for most victims, after being inundated by several-meter high waters from nearby rivers. Floodwaters caused over 2,000 landslides across Southeast Europe, spreading damage across many towns and villages.
