Sculpture Walk Hoher Fläming
The Kunstwanderweg Hoher Fläming (Upper Fläming sculpture walk) is a collection of sculpture walks in the Upper Fläming natural park in Brandenburg, Germany, about , or an hour's train ride south of Berlin located between the railway stations at Bad Belzig and Wiesenburg/Mark. The , so-called north route was opened on 5 August 2007. The so-called south route was opened on 8 May 2010. There are plans for a variety of connecting paths. The "Naturparkverein Fläming e.V." association planned and implemented both routes. The projects were financed via the European Community LEADER programme. Bad Belzig
Bad Belzig (), until 2010 Belzig, is a historic town in Brandenburg, Germany located about southwest of Berlin. It is the capital of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. Geography Bad Belzig is located within the Fläming hill range and in the centre of the High Fläming Nature Park. The plains north of the town are home to one of the few great bustard populations in Germany. Fläming Heath
The Fläming Heath is a region and hill chain that reaches over 100 km from the Elbe river to the Dahme River in the German states Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg. Its highest elevation is the Hagelberg (201 m). The name Fläming originates from the 12th century, when Flemish colonists came to settle in the region from the overcrowded cities of Flanders. The Fläming Heath is a rural area, which benefits from its proximity to the Berlin metropolitan area. Tourism became an important economic sector.
