Scouting In Ukraine
Scouting in Ukraine received World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) recognition in July 2008. The Eurasian Region headquarters is located on Ukrainian territory. 2008 WOSM recognition The World Scout Bureau received an application for membership of the World Organization from the National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine (NOSU). In accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of WOSM, the World Scout Committee considered this application at its meeting on 29 February-2 March 2008, and recommended that it be accepted. Under the terms of Article VI.2 of the WOSM Constitution, “if within three months the recommendation is unopposed or opposed by less than five percent of the Member Organizations”, NOSU was declared a Member, as the National Scout Organization of Ukraine, of the World Organization of the Scout Movement as from 1 July 2008. It follows the Scout method of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, Backpacking (wilderness), backpacking and sports. A widely recognized movement characteristic is the Scout uniform, by intent Social hierarchies, hiding all differences of social standing and encouraging Social equality, equality, with neckerchief (known as a scarf in some countries) and (originally) a campaign hat or comparable Headgear, headwear. Zalischyky Raion
Zalishchyky Raion () was a raion (district) of Ternopil Oblast. The administrative centre and largest town was Zalishchyky. The rest of the district's population lived in one of 35 village councils or 53 rural settlements. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Ternopil Oblast to three. Nevytsky Castle
Nevytske Castle (; ) is a semi-ruined castle in Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine. It is located north of Uzhhorod near the villages Nevytske and Kamianytsia, Uzhhorod Raion along the . The castle is located in the woods on a hill of volcanic origin with a relative elevation of and a few hundred meters to the east of a road and river that flows along. This location of the castle gave it a good opportunity to control the Transcarpathian route over the Uzhok pass (Bieszczady Mountains). The castle was first mentioned in 1274 belonging to the King of Hungary Laszlo IV as a donjon (keep).
