Noel Scott Engel (January 9, 1943 – March 22, 2019), better known by his stage name Scott Walker, was an American-British singer-songwriter and record producer who resided in England. Walker was known for his emotive voice and his unorthodox stylistic path which took him from being a teen pop icon in the 1960s to an avant-garde musician from the late 1970s to his death. Walker's success was largely in the United Kingdom, where he achieved fame as a member of pop trio the Walker Brothers, who scored several hit singles, including two number ones, during the mid-1960s, while his first four solo albums reached the top ten during the later part of the decade, with the second, '' Scott 2'', reaching number one in 1968. He lived in the UK from 1965 onward and became a UK citizen in 1970. ''Scott Walker: 30 Century Man'' is a 2006 documentary film about Scott Walker. The film gets its title from the ''Scott 3'' song "30 Century Man". It is directed and co-produced by Stephen Kijak, with Grant Gee serving as director of photography. It charts Walker's career in music, with a focus on his songwriting, and features exclusive footage of recording sessions for his most recent album, ''The Drift'' including a memorable sequence in which Walker oversees the recording of the punching of a joint of pork, for the percussion on the song ''Clara''. Scott Kevin Walker (born November 2, 1967) is an American politician who served as the 45th governor of Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party (United States), Republican Party, he previously served as List of Milwaukee County executives, Milwaukee County executive from 2002 to 2010. Richard Scott Walker (born July 10, 1953) is an American judge in the U.S. state of Texas. Early life and education Walker was elected to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) in 2016. Walker graduated from Red Oak High School in 1971. He completed his undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University and received his J.D. degree from the Baylor Law School. Career Prior to his election campaign, he was a defense attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 63 years old when he ran for Place 5 of CCA. Perry Scott Walker (October 30, 1969 – January 31, 2004) was an American professional boxer. Walker's nickname was "The Pink Cat", and he gained some attention in the 1990s boxing scene for wearing pink boxing trunks and slicked-back hair, the latter a tribute to his idol, James Dean. He is best known for winning a ten-round decision over hall-of-fame champion Alexis Argüello, ending Arguello's ill-conceived bid at a comeback in January 1995. Scott Walker (born July 19, 1973) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who currently serves as the co-owner and team president of the Guelph Storm in the OHL. He previously held the position of player development consultant for the Vancouver Canucks. Murder Of Jody Dobrowski
Jody Dobrowski (27 June 1981 – 15 October 2005) was an English 24-year-old assistant bar manager who was murdered on Clapham Common in south London. On 14 October, at around midnight, he was beaten to death with punches and kicks by two men who believed him to be gay, and pronounced dead in the early hours of 15 October. Tests carried out at St. George's Hospital in Tooting, South London revealed Dobrowski had a swollen brain, broken nose and extensive bruising to his neck, spine and groin. His family was unable to identify him due to his face being so badly disfigured and he had to be identified by fingerprints. His two assailants, Thomas Pickford and Scott Walker, pleaded guilty to the murder of Dobrowski at the Old Bailey criminal court on 12 May 2006 and were sentenced to life imprisonment on 16 June 2006 with a minimum of 28 years to be served.
