Scott Jackson (American Football)
Scott Jackson (born January 19, 1979) is a former American football offensive lineman for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He was originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2004 and ended his five-year NFL career on the Houston Texans. He played college football at Brigham Young University. Scott Jackson started his new career as a project manager for Sunbelt Supply, a valve distributor, and his current position is CEO of Floworks. The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The 40-yard dash is a sprint covering . It is primarily run to evaluate the speed and acceleration of American football players by scouts, particularly for the NFL draft but also for collegiate recruiting. A player's recorded time can have a heavy impact on his prospects in college or professional football.
