School Of Medical Education
The School of Medical Education is a constituent college under the Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies, established by the Government of Kerala. It was previously run by the Mahatma Gandhi University. It is a self-financing professional college, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the medical and para-medical faculties. It was started at six centres with two centres each at Kottayam and Ernakulam, one centre at Angamaly Angamaly () is a municipality in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), commonly referred to as MG University, is a state ownership, state owned public university headquartered in Kottayam in the state of Kerala, India. It was established on 2 October 1983 on Gandhi Jayanti day. Mahatma Gandhi University (formerly Gandhiji University) has been approved by University Grants Commission (India), University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with the highest grade of 'A++ (CGPA - 3.61) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. The university has 31 departments of teaching and research and around 260 affiliated colleges spread over five districts in central Kerala. Ernakulam
Ernakulam () is the central business district of the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. It is the namesake of Ernakulam district. The eastern part of Kochi city is mainly known as Ernakulam, while the western part of it after the Venduruthy Bridge is called as Western Kochi. Angamaly
Angamaly () is a municipality in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. Angamaly is part of the Kochi metropolitan area and is located northeast of the Kochi city centre. As of the 2011 Indian census, the municipality has a population of 33,465 people and a population density of . History Several old coins and other artifacts demonstrate that this region was predominantly Buddhist and Jain. Malayatoor Church, an international shrine, is located nearby.
