''Scars for You to Remember'' is the third studio album by Varials. It was released on October 14, 2022, through Fearless Records. It is their first release to feature former lead guitarist Shane Lyons as rhythm guitarist, and only release to have Mitchell Rogers as vocalist after dropping his role as lead guitarist, after former vocalist Travis Tabron announced his departure from the band in 2020 due to mental health reasons. and last to feature Mitchell Rogers and James Hohenwarter, who both left the band on October 27, 2024 Background and promotion In late 2020 and early 2021, the band began working with producer Josh Schroeder on a new EP. They later decided to switch from an EP to their third studio album. Varials
Varials is an American metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in October 2013. The band currently consists of guitarist Shane Lyons, bassist Mike Foley and drummer Sean Rauchut. History The band members, all from Philadelphia or surrounding towns, had been a part of the 2009 music scene in one way or another, realizing this years later after they all met through different means. By 2012, they officially formed Varials. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Jared Pilieri, guitarists James Hohenwarter and Shane Lyons, bassist Mike Foley, and drummer Sean Rauchut. Pilieri was kicked out of the band in 2014, with the band releasing a statement distancing themselves from him, stating "(Pilieri) used his place in this band to manipulate others and we all sincerely apologize to anyone that was affected by his actions" He was replaced by Travis Tabron. Nu metalcore (or nu-core) is a fusion genre that combines elements of nu metal and metalcore. Fearless Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 1994. ''In Darkness'' is the second studio album by Varials. It was released on October 11, 2019, through Fearless Records. It is their last release to feature Travis Tabron as vocalist, since he announced his departure from the band later in 2020. Release Varials released four singles, "I Suffocate", "Bleeding", "Romance", and "The Love Machine" for the album on September 23, and released the album through Fearless on October 11, 2019. Varials supported Counterparts on their Private Room 2.0 Tour throughout the Fall of 2019. Varials will be heading to Europe to support Polaris on their Death of Me Tour. Orthodox is a metalcore band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2011. Distinguisher (band)
Distinguisher was an American metalcore band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2014. The band's final lineup consisted of vocalist Nick Chance, guitarist Josh Bearden, bassist Brad Cornelius, and drummer Jacob Barsoum. Distinguisher released their debut album, "What's Left of Us", on February 10, 2017, which received high praise from the underground metal community.
