''Saved'' is the third studio album by the indie rock band Now, Now Now, Now, formerly known as Now, Now Every Children, is an American indie rock duo formed in Blaine, Minnesota and based in Minneapolis. The band consists of Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Bradley Hale (drums, backing vocals). Hi .... It was released on May 18, 2018 on Trans Records. It is the band's first album in six years, and also their first album since the departure of guitarist and background vocalist Jess Abbott in 2017. Background and recording In 2014, the band announced that they were in the process of writing a new record. On May 8, 2017, the band deleted all previous content from their Twitter and Facebook page and posted a short teaser video. No comments were provided with the video. Now, Now, formerly known as Now, Now Every Children, is an American indie rock duo formed in Blaine, Minnesota and based in Minneapolis. The band consists of Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Bradley Hale (drums, backing vocals). History Formation The band was formed in 2003. Classmates Cacie Dalager and Bradley Hale met in their high school marching band when they were both sixteen years old. They eventually began writing songs together, starting with an acoustic song dedicated to a college-bound friend. The band's name, according to Dalager, was an in-joke resulting from a typo in an online chat. The duo considered using the name for an EP title, but it stuck as the band name when they officially started the project. Dalager and Hale were joined by Brad's sister Britty on keyboards, and school friend Justin Schweim on bass for the recording of their first EP and their first few shows in the Minneapolis area. Christopher Ryan Walla (born November 2, 1975) is an American musician, record producer, and film music composer, best known for being a former guitarist and songwriter for the band Death Cab for Cutie. Musical career Early bands While at Bothell High School in the early 1990s, Walla started a program called Open Microphone with creative writing teacher Laura Drumheller, as a noon-time forum for the arts, which allowed any student to take the stage and perform. Walla regularly performed at these shows, as well as serving as MC. One performance by Walla included a song by Talking Heads. These early Open Microphone shows proved popular and continued for over twenty years, moving from Bothell High School to Inglemoor High School when teacher Drumheller transferred there.
