Save The World Reunion Tour
The Save the World Reunion Tour is a 2019 reunion tour by Swedish supergroup Swedish House Mafia. Named after their 2011 single, the tour was a follow-up to the group's reunion at Ultra Miami in 2018. After months of speculation, the tour was teased by Axwell Λ Ingrosso during a show in New York on May 27, 2018, and was confirmed by Steve Angello later in June in an interview with Sydsvenskan. In August 2018, Axwell Λ Ingrosso announced that they'd be going on hiatus to focus on the reunion tour. The tour kicks off at Stockholm's Tele2 Arena on May 2, 2019. On the first night of the tour, Swedish House Mafia premiered a new orchestral version of their 2010 hit "One". The song was composed by Jacob Mühlrad and would be one of the main songs of the tour. Swedish House Mafia (SHM) are a Swedish house music, house Supergroup (music), supergroup consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, were placed at number ten on the ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJ Poll 2011, and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music", while being credited for "setting the tone for the Electronic dance music, EDM boom of the early 2010s, more than any other act in modern dance music". Stavernfestivalen
Stavernfestivalen is an annual music festival held in the month of July, in Stavern, Norway, at the Larvik Golf Arena. The first-ever Stavernfestivalen festival took place in 2001, with 175 attendees. The following year, the festival was organised over two days, and in 2011, for three days. By 2019, approximately 75,000 people attended the celebration of music. Relocation to the Larvik Golf Arena Up until 2014, the festival was arranged at Skråvika near Minnehallen in Stavern. In 2015, it relocated to the Larvik Golf Arena – a much larger, more spacious area where the organisers could focus on further developing and improving the overall experience. Axel Christofer Hedfors (; born 18 December 1977), better known by his stage name Axwell, is a Swedish DJ, record producer, remixer and owner of Axtone Records. He is a member of Swedish House Mafia along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. He is a two-time DJ Awards winner, and in 2013 he was placed 19th on the ''DJ Magazine'' Top 100 DJ Poll. Early life Axwell's interest in music appeared at an early age, having taught himself to play the drums by age nine. "It Gets Better" is a song by house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia, released on 15 July 2021 through SSA Recording and Republic Records. It is the group's first single in eight years, following their 2013 hiatus and signing to Republic. The song precedes Swedish House Mafia's debut studio album, ''Paradise Again'', and was noted as being darker than their previous music. Background An early version of "It Gets Better" was previewed during the Save the World Reunion Tour in 2019.
