The SAFF Women's U-17 Tournament () is the primary competition for girls under 17 in Women's Football in Saudi Arabia. History Director of the Women's Football Department, Alia Al-Rasheed, said that this step represents a qualitative shift in women's football plans in the Kingdom, noting that the focus in the current period is on building a distinguished generation of young women and increasing the number of official matches for them, which contributes to raising the technical quality of female players. Format Participating teams In the inaugural edition, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation extended participation rights to all teams with women's Under-17 teams, including three Regional Training Centers (). Teams were required to register a minimum of 14 and a maximum of 40 players, with eligible player ages ranging from 12 to 17 years. 2024–25 Saudi Women's U-17 Tournament
The 2024–25 Saudi Women's U-17 Tournament is the second season of the Saudi Women's U-17 Tournament, SAFF Women's U-17 Tournament, a women's youth club football competition organised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. Al-Shabab FC (Riyadh, women), Al-Shabab were the title holders, having defeated Al Hilal SFC (women), Al-Hilal 1–0 in the previous edition's final. However, their title defense came to an end in the semi-finals, where they were defeated by the eventual champions, Al Qadsiah FC (women), Al-Qadsiah. Overview TThis was the first edition to feature matches played with eleven-a-side. The Dawri Madaris () It is a women's football Tournament in schools that is held annually in all regions of Saudi Arabia, organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The first edition in 2022 witnessed the participation of 4,768 teams from 1,906 schools, the participation of 48,324 female players with 3,793 female coaches, and the participation of 413 referees. In the second edition in 2023, more than 5,700 teams were allowed to participate, bringing the number of female players to more than 70,000. The Saudi Women's Cup, officially the SAFF Women's Cup (Arabic: كأس الإتحاد السعودي للسيدات) is the top annual cup tournament for women's clubs in Saudi Women’s Football. Basmah Nawaf Al-Shnaifi (; born 23 April 2009) is a Saudi footballer who plays as a Midfielder for Saudi Women's Premier League side Al-Nassr.
