Satoru Kobayashi (director)
(August 1, 1930 – November 15, 2001) was a Japanese film director most famous for directing the first ''pink film'', the type of softcore pornographic films that became the most prolific film genre in Japan during the 1960s and 1970s. Japanese sources claim that Kobayashi directed over 400 ''pink films'' between 1960 and 1990, making him possibly the most prolific Japanese film director. Life and career Early life Satoru Kobayashi was born in Nagano Prefecture on August 1, 1930. His family owned a hot-spring resort hotel. As a teenager during World War II, Kobayashi was involved in anti-war activities, resulting in his torture by the Japanese military police. In an interview with the Director's Guild, Kobayashi claimed that it was this first-hand experience with torture that gave him his interest and adeptness with the sado-masochistic genre of ''pink film'' in which he often worked.Weisser, p.140. Satoru Kobayashi (footballer)
is a former Japanese football player. Playing career Kobayashi was born in Gunma Prefecture on August 26, 1973. After graduating from high school, he joined the Japan Football League club NTT Kanto (later ''Omiya Ardija'') in 1992. Although he did not play much at first, he played often in 1994. In 1999, he moved to the newly promoted J2 League club, Sagan Tosu. He played often as a side back and side midfielder over two seasons until 2000. In May 2001, he joined the J2 club Albirex Niigata is a professional football club based in Niigata, Japan. Formed in 1955 as Niigata Eleven SC, it was renamed Albireo Niigata FC in 1995, and Albirex Niigata in 1997. They currently play in J1 League after being promoted from J2 League as cha .... Although he did play much in 2001, he became a regular player as a right side back in 2002. He retired at the end of the 2002 season.
