The Satellite Award for Best Motion Picture is one of the annual awards given to motion pictures by the International Press Academy. The category was gone through several changes since its inception, specially related to the genre of the film awarded. Mark Herman
Mark Herman (born 1954) is a British film director and screenwriter, best known for writing and directing the 1996 film '' Brassed Off'' and the 2008 film '' The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas''. Film critic Paul Wells offers this assessment of Herman's work in the 2019 book ''Directors in British and Irish Cinema'': "Herman has attracted little critical attention but his preoccupation with the underdog and personal and social injustice makes him a pertinent commentator on the decline of the English working class and its strategies for survival." Frank Richard Oznowicz (born May 25, 1944), known professionally as Frank Oz, is an American puppeteer, filmmaker and actor. He is best known for his involvement with Jim Henson and George Lucas through ''The Muppets'', ''Sesame Street'', and ''Star Wars'', as well as his directorial work in feature films and theater.
