The Saryozen (), also known as Konyrauli (), is a river in the Zharkain District of Akmola Region and the Amangeldi and Zhangeldi districts of Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan. It heads initially southwestwards, then it bends westwards and in its mid course it bends again and heads southwestwards. Finally it enters lake Sarykopa from the northeastern end. In years of high water the Saryozen river may flow across lake Sarykopa into the Turgay through a channel near Tauysh village. Its main tributary is the long Ulken Damdi from the right. Sentinel-2
Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission's Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B satellites were joined in orbit in 2024 by a third, Sentinel-2C, and in the future by Sentinel-2D, eventually replacing the A and B satellites, respectively. Sarykopa
Sarykopa (; ) is a bittern salt lake in the Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan. Sarykopa lies in the steppe of the central sector of the Turgay Basin in Zhangeldi District, in the southern area of there Kostanay Region. There are a number of villages situated near the lake. Geography Sarykopa is an endorheic lake. Its shape is elongated, stretching roughly from SSW to NNE. The long Saryozen river flows into the lake from the north and the Teke from the west. Since the lake is fed by snow its level is subject to variations according to the inflow, reaching a maximum area of in the spring floods when the snow melts. Kostanay Region (; ) is a region of Kazakhstan. Its administrative center is the city of Kostanay. The population of the region is 835,686. The population living in Kostanay is 207,000 which is equivalent to 23% of the region.
