Susanna-Assunta Sansone is a British-Italian data scientist who is professor of data readiness at the University of Oxford where she leads the data readiness group and serves as associate director of the Oxford e-Research Centre. Her research investigates techniques for improving the interoperability, reproducibility and integrity of data. Early life and education Sansone is from Italy. She was an undergraduate student at the University of Naples Federico II. She earned her bachelor's degree in molecular biology and a PhD in microbiology at Imperial College London, where she worked in St Mary's Hospital, London. Maggie Sansone is a hammered dulcimer player and recording artist from Miami, Florida. Biography Sansone started recording her music in 1984. Since then, she has made over a dozen recordings, both solo and as a guest artist or in collaboration with numerous recording artists such as Bonnie Rideout, Al Petteway, and Ensemble Galilei. Although she is perhaps best known for her hammered dulcimer recordings, she also plays the piano, guitar, mandolin, and Northumbrian small-pipes.
