Sander Armée
Sander Armée (born 10 December 1985) is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2010 to 2022. Biography Childhood and amateur career Born in Leuven, Flanders, Armée participated in athletics, cycling, and skating during his childhood. In 2007, he was recruited by the Belgian continental cycling team Profel Ziegler. He won five races in 2007 and six in 2008. Professional career Armée became a professional rider in 2010, signing for the professional continental team . He placed seventh in the Star Bessèges and nineteenth in the Tour of Belgium. After four years with the team, Armée joined for the 2014 season. He remained with the team until the end of the 2020 season, before joining . In November 2021, Armée signed a contract with for the 2022 season. The Circuit Franco-Belge is a single day cycling race held annually in Belgium and France. The race was previously known as the Tour de Wallonie-Picarde in 2011 and as the Tour de l'Eurométropole from 2012 to 2021. The Four Days of Dunkirk () is road bicycle race around the Nord-Pas de Calais region of northern France. Despite the name of the race, since the addition of an individual time trial in 1963, the race has been held over a 5 or 6 day period for most of its history. 2017 Tour De Romandie
The 2017 Tour de Romandie was a road cycling stage race that took place between 25 and 30 April in Romandie, Switzerland. It was the 71st edition of the Tour de Romandie and the nineteenth event of the 2017 UCI World Tour. The race was won on the final day by Australia's Richie Porte (), who overhauled a 19-second deficit to British rider Simon Yates over the time trial, and won the race for the first time. Yates – riding for the squad – was able to finish second overall, holding off 's Primož Roglič of Slovenia, who won the final time trial and finished just five seconds in arrears of Yates at the finish. In the race's other classifications, Belgian Sander Armée won the mountains classification for the second year in succession for , home rider Stefan Küng won the points classification for the , while 14th place overall was enough for Pierre Latour () to win the young rider classification. The Jersey Black apple is an old North American variety of apple, or ''Malus domestica''; it is thought to have originated c. 1817, but has fallen somewhat out of favor. It is also known as the Black Apple because its skin is very dark red, appearing almost black. It is a dessert apple with sweet white firm flesh. It was once used for the production of cider.
