San Benito is a municipality in the El Petén department of Guatemala. It covers an area of 112 km2, and had 29,926 inhabitants at the 2002 Census; the latest official estimate (as at mid 2012) was 59,486 people. It is located adjacent to departmental capital Flores. Tipitapa
Tipitapa is a city and municipality in the Managua department of western Nicaragua. The area is located between Lake Managua and Lake Nicaragua. History Tipitapa began as a settlement of local tribes. The first settlers were the Chorotegas, who populated central Nicaragua and especially the location between two lakes. Over time, the Chorotegas were divided into two rival gangs, the Dirianes and Nagrandanos. The kingdom of Dirianes was the jurisdiction to which it belonged. Pre-Tipitapa had its own social, economic and administrative policy. The largest populations were Managua, Xalteva, Diriomo, Niquinohomo, and Mateare Nindirí. There are two versions of the origin of the name of Tipitapa. The first is said to be of Mexican origin and is formed from the prefix ''"telpë"'' meaning "stone" with "''petlat"'' meaning "mat or bedroll" and "''pan"'' which means "place" to form "place of stone backpacks". Islas San Benito
The Islas San Benito lie in the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of the Mexican state of Baja California, 25 km west of Cedros Island. They are part of the Cedros Island ''delegación'', a subdivision of Ensenada (municipality), Baja California. The group consists of three barren islands, with a total area of 3.899 km2, and is surrounded by rocks and patches of kelp. The census of 2001 recorded a population of two on ''Benito del Oeste'' (West Benito); the other islands are uninhabited. Geography and ecology ''Benito del Oeste'' (West Benito, 2.6 km2) is the westernmost and largest island of the group. It appears as a plateau with a mound rising 600 ft (202 m) high near the center. Dagami (IPA: ɐ'gami, officially the Municipality of Dagami ( war, Bungto han Dagami; tl, Bayan ng Dagami), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 36,178 people. Waray-Waray is the language spoken by the residents called ''Dagamin-on''. It is classified as a third class municipality and mere dependent on agriculture such as coconut, rice and corn farming.
