Samuel Llorca
Samuel Llorca Ripoll (born 26 April 1985), known simply as Samuel, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He amassed Segunda División totals of 225 games and ten goals over nine seasons, in representation of four teams. He added one appearance in La Liga for Celta. Club career Born in Alicante, Valencian Community, Samuel started his senior career at local Hércules CF, with its reserves. In 2005 he moved to amateur neighbours CD Alone de Guardamar, being an important unit as they eventually retained their Tercera División status. 2007–08 Segunda División
The 2007–08 season was the 77th in the history of the Segunda División (known as the Liga BBVA for sponsorship reasons), the second tier of the Spanish football league system. The first matches of the season were played on 25 August 2007, and the season ended on 15 June 2008. Celta de Vigo, Real Sociedad, and Gimnàstic de Tarragona were the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. Racing de Ferrol, Eibar, Sevilla Atlético, and Córdoba were the teams which were promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. Gustavo Daniel Cabral (born 14 October 1985) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club Pachuca. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. 2012 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2012 Segunda División play-offs took place in June 2012. The Segunda División promotion phase (known as ''Promoción de ascenso'') was the second phase of 2011–12 Segunda División and was to determine the third team which promoted to 2012–13 La Liga. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position (excluding reserve teams) took part in the promotion play-offs. Regulations were similar that previous season: fifth placed faced against the fourth, while the sixth positioned team faced against the third. In case of a tied eliminatory there were extra time, once finished it, this season introduced that there wouldn't be penalty shoot-out and the winner would be the best positioned team.
