Samsung Galaxy (esports)
Samsung Galaxy Pro-Game Team, or simply Samsung Galaxy (SSG, ) and formerly known as Samsung KHAN, was a professional esports works team of Samsung Sports, owned by Samsung Electronics via sub-company Cheil Worldwide. In September 2013, team was renamed after famous brand from Samsung Electronics' smartphone series. During its existence it had teams competing in ''League of Legends'', ''StarCraft'' and ''StarCraft II''. Samsung KHAN was founded in June 2000 as an esports team of ''StarCraft''/''StarCraft II'' and competing in StarCraft II Proleague. They won 2008 season. The 2014 ''League of Legends'' World Championship was an esports tournament held from September 18 to October 19, 2014, for the multiplayer online battle arena video game ''League of Legends''. It was the fourth iteration of the League of Legends World Championship, ''League of Legends'' World Championship, an annual international tournament organized by the game's developer, Riot Games.
