Trio Beach
Trio Beach is a gazetted beach facing the bay of Sam Sing Wan () and located on Pak Sha Wan Peninsula, Sai Kung District, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 131 metres long and is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. History On 18 July 2010, a dragon boat was swamped by the wakes from two passing speedboats and all 21 paddlers who were practising for the coming dragon boat competition at the beach fell into the sea. A 26-year-old woman was treated at Tseung Kwan O Hospital for her leg injury and was discharged. In September 2018, the beach had to be temporarily closed due to the sewage being leaked into the sea near the beach from the Sai Kung Sewage Treatment Works. This was due to the Typhoon Mangkhut. Yilan, alternately spelled I-lan, is a County (Taiwan), county in northeastern Taiwan. Yilan is the northernmost county on the island of Taiwan, with a population of 450,031. Its seat is located in Yilan City. Before the Han Chinese Wu Sha led his company into large-scale reclamation in today’s Yilan in 1787, the area was mainly inhabited by the indigenous Kavalan people. During the Taiwan under Japanese rule, Japanese rule, much of the present day Yilan County was part of Taiwan under Japanese rule, Japan within its Taihoku Prefecture. Samsing is a small hill village and tourist spot in the Matiali (community development block), Malbazar subdivision of Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal situated at an elevation of 3000 ft in the foothills in between Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts border. Miss Universe Canada 2019 was the 17th Miss Universe Canada pageant, held on August 17, 2019, at the John Bassett Theatre in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Samsing Group
The Samsing Group ( Danish: Samsing-gruppen) was a Danish resistance group in Aarhus, Denmark active from June 1943 until 6 June 1944. The group consisted of Willy Samsing, his three brothers and 10-12 other men. The group conducted some 60 large and small sabotage actions in and around Aarhus and were the driving force behind resistance operations in the city in the early years. In addition to sabotage the group collected weapons and supplies airdropped by the allies and supplied them to other groups in Jutland. In 1944 the group was dismantled by the German authorities and its members arrested. The group worked with a loosely based group of university students that had been active since 1942.
