Salafist Jihadist
Salafi jihadism, also known as Salafi-jihadism, jihadist Salafism and revolutionary Salafism, is a religiopolitical Sunni Islamist ideology that seeks to establish a global caliphate through armed struggle. In a narrower sense, jihadism refers to the belief that armed struggle with political rivals is an efficient and theologically legitimate method of socio-political change. Sunni Islam
Sunni Islam is the largest Islamic schools and branches, branch of Islam and the largest religious denomination in the world. It holds that Muhammad did not appoint any Succession to Muhammad, successor and that his closest companion Abu Bakr () rightfully succeeded him as the caliph of the Muslim community, being appointed at the meeting of Saqifa. Mustafa Kamel Mustafa (; born 15 April 1958), also known as Abu Hamza al-Masri (; , – literally, father of Hamza, the Egyptian), or simply Abu Hamza, is an Egyptian cleric who was the imam of Finsbury Park Mosque in London, where he preached Islamic fundamentalist views. Abu Musab al-Suri (), born Mustafa bin Abd al-Qadir Setmariam Nasar (; 26 October 1958), is a suspected Al-Qaeda member and writer best known for his 1,600-page book ''The Global Islamic Resistance Call'' (''Da'wat al-muqawamah al-islamiyyah al-'alamiyyah''). He is considered by many as 'the most articulate exponent of the modern jihad and its most sophisticated strategist'. Abu Qatada Al-Filistini
Omar Mahmoud Othman (; born 30 December 1960), better known as Abu Qatada al-Filistini ( ; )'','' is a Jordanian Salafi cleric. Abu Qatada was accused of having links to terrorist organisations and frequently imprisoned in the United Kingdom without formal charges or prosecution before being deported to Jordan, where he was acquitted of multiple terrorism charges. Abu Qatada claimed asylum in the United Kingdom in 1993 on a forged passport.
