The parish of Saint George ("St. George") is located in the interior of Barbados. It is one of two land-locked parishes, the other being Saint Thomas to the north. A prominent landmark in the parish is Gun Hill Signal Station – one of the few remaining signal stations, dating back to 1818. Saint George Parish, Grenada
Saint George is one of the parishes of Grenada, located on the south-western end of the island. The capital of Grenada, St. George's, is located in this parish, and it is regarded as the most picturesque capital in the Caribbean. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour is surrounded by the pastel colors of warehouses and it is not uncommon to see red-tiled roofs on traditional shops and homes. Saint George is also the home of the world-famous Grand Anse Beach and many of the island's holiday resorts. The peninsula at the south-western tip of Saint George is called Point Salines, and the only active airport on the island of Grenada, Maurice Bishop International Airport, is located there. Montserrat ( ) is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. It is part of the Leeward Islands, the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles chain of the West Indies. Montserrat is about long and wide, with roughly of coastline. It is nicknamed "The Emerald Isle of the Caribbean" both for its resemblance to coastal Ireland and for the Irish ancestry of many of its inhabitants. Montserrat is the only non-fully sovereign full member of the Caribbean Community and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. Saint George is a civil parish in Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada, located between St. Stephen and Saint John. Local governance is provided by two local service districts (LSDs), that are members of the Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission (SNBSC). The Census subdivision of the same name includes all of the parish except St. George. Origin of name Historian William Francis Ganong believed the name suggested by other Saint names in the area. Saint George is an administrative parish of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, situated in the most southerly portion of the island of Saint Vincent. With an area of 52 km² it is the country's third largest parish by total area. According to the 2000 census it has a population of approximately 52,400 making it the most populous parish in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and by extent, the most densely populated as well. Its population accounts for 44% of that of the country and its area, only 13%. Burke County is a county located along the eastern border of the U.S. state of Georgia in the Piedmont. As of the 2020 census, the population was 24,596. The county seat is Waynesboro.
