Saint-Chély-d'Apcher
Saint-Chély-d'Apcher (; ) is a commune in the Lozère department in southern France. History Its inhabitants are called Barrabans. This name was allotted to the inhabitants of Saint-Chély-d'Apcher during the Hundred Years' War. In 1363, the town was attacked by the English. The inhabitants defended themselves with bars, and advanced towards the attacking English army to the cry of "barres en avant" ("bars ahead"). Coat of arms The shield of Saint-Chély-d'Apcher is a red castle with two blue axes and the background is golden. The axes can be a product of the legend of the eight Gévaudan's baronage. This article is a list of public sculptures designed by Maxime Real del Sarte. War Memorials using the composition entitled "Je t'ai cherché" The plaster model entitled "Je t'ai cherché" was first exhibited in 1920 at the Salon des Artistes Français under reference number 3396, and the composition was used by Real del Sarte for five war memorials. These are listed below. "Je t'ai cherché" translates as "I looked/searched for you". A75 Autoroute
The A75 is an '' autoroute'' (motorway) in France. Known also as ''la Méridienne'', it is a developmental project aiming to speed up, and reduce the cost of car travel from Paris to the south of France. Apart from the Millau Viaduct, it is free for the entire between Clermont-Ferrand and Béziers. It was not due to be finished until spring 2011, but was fully opened in December 2010. South of St. Flour there are views of the Garabit viaduct. A large portion of the A75 is also part of the European route E11. Tadcaster is a market town and civil parishes in England, civil parish in North Yorkshire, England, north-east of Leeds and south-west of York. Its historical importance from Roman times onward was largely as the lowest road crossing-point on the River Wharfe until the construction of the A64 Tadcaster by-pass some to the south, in 1978. Intercités (IC), known before September 2009 as ''Corail Intercités'', is a brand name used by France's national railway company, the SNCF, to denote non High-speed rail in France, high-speed services on the classic rail network in France. Château D'Apcher
The Château d'Apcher is a ruined feudal castle in the '' commune'' of Prunières in the Lozère ''département'' of France. The castle was built and altered in the 11th century, with further building in the 12th and 14th centuries. It was the ancient seat of the Marquis d'Apchier, one of the eight barons of Gévaudan. It was abandoned bit by bit during the 17th century. Today, it is a ruin with only the keep still intact. Location The castle is situated in the north of Gévaudan, between Saint-Chély-d'Apcher and Le Malzieu-Ville, not far from the Truyère. The baron of Apchier ruled over the whole of the northern Aubrac plain, surrounded by the baronies of Peyre and Mercœur.
