Sabulina Cismontana
''Sabulina cismontana'' is a species of flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae known by the common name cismontane minuartia. It is native to Oregon and northern and central California, where it occurs in woodland and chaparral habitat, often on serpentine soils. It is similar to '' Sabulina californica'' and '' S. pusilla'', but it was found to be a different species and was described as new in 1992.Meinke, R. J. and P. F. Zika. (1992). Caryophyllaceae
Caryophyllaceae, commonly called the pink family or carnation family, is a family (biology), family of flowering plants. It is included in the dicotyledon order Caryophyllales in the APG III system, alongside 33 other families, including Amaranthaceae, Cactaceae, and Polygonaceae. It is a large family, with 81 Genus, genera and about 2,625 known species. This cosmopolitan family of mostly herbaceous plants is best represented in temperate climates, with a few species growing on tropical mountains.
