Rob Van Dam and Sabu (wrestler), Sabu were a professional wrestling tag team who competed in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and WWE's ECW (WWE brand), ECW WWE brand extension, brand. Heat Wave (1998) was the fifth Heat Wave professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). The event took place on August 2, 1998 from the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio. This was the first edition of Heat Wave to be broadcast on pay-per-view. He was best known for his time with Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW), where he primarily wrestled throughout his career and was the ace of the company between 1995 and 2001.
