SuperM
SuperM () was a South Korean Supergroup (music), supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The group consisted of seven members from four SM Entertainment boy bands: Taemin from Shinee, Baekhyun and Kai (entertainer, born 1994), Kai from Exo, Taeyong and Mark (rapper), Mark from NCT 127, Ten (singer), Ten from WayV, and Lucas (rapper), Lucas, who is a former NCT (group), NCT and WayV member. The group debuted on October 4, 2019, with their SuperM (EP), self-titled EP, which entered the US Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 at number one, making SuperM the first Asian artist in history to top the chart with a debut release. Their debut single, "Jopping", was among ''Billboard'''s Critics' Picks for the "25 Best K-pop Songs" of 2019. Jopping
"Jopping" is the debut single by South Korean pop group SuperM. It was released on October 4, 2019 as the first single from the eponymous debut extended play by SM Entertainment and Capitol Records. Composition and lyrics "Jopping", a combination of words jumping and popping, is the lead track off SuperM’s self-titled debut EP. The song features heavy electro-pop influences with references to brit-pop sounds. The song uses cinematic-style horns and a groovy beat. A fusion of pop-rock, R&B, and hip-hop genres can be heard in the vocal and rap talents of each member. Music video Filmed in the UAE desert and Dubai’s urban jungle, the futuristic video features supercars and bikes in action, while a helicopter sits pretty in the background. Exo-CBX () is the first sub-unit of South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo, consists of three members: Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Chen.
