SIS (Soft Is Strong)
''SIS (Soft Is Strong)'' is the debut extended play (EP) by girl group Katseye. It was released by Hybe UMG and Geffen Records on August 16, 2024. The EP is supported by two singles preceding its release—"Debut" in June and "Touch" in July. Background and release Katseye was formed through the reality show ''Dream Academy'', hosted as a joint venture by Hybe Corporation and Geffen Records, to create a girl group that will be promoted primarily in the United States. The show ended in November 2023. On June 14, 2024, Hybe and Geffen announced plans to release Katseye's first EP in August later that year, which will be preceded by the release of two singles included in the album on June 28 and in July. Katseye
Katseye (pronounced "cat's eye"; stylized in all caps) is a girl group based in Los Angeles, California. The group is composed of six members: Manon, Sophia, Daniela Avanzini, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae. With members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States, it is often described as a "global girl group". ''The Debut: Dream Academy'' is a talent competition reality show created as an international collaboration between record labels Hybe and Geffen Records aimed at creating a global girl group. The fan-interactive project involves 20 female candidates from around the world competing in three "missions" to test their artistry. Eliminations occur after each mission, leaving 10 contestants to compete in the finale, during which the final group's members will be decided. Sam Roman (born 15 September 1986), known by his stage name Romans (stylised as RØMANS), is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer.
