SDE HF (men's Hockey)
SDE Hockey are an ice hockey club in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). They play at Enebybergs Ishall in the Enebyberg community of Danderyd Municipality in Metropolitan Stockholm. History The club was formed in 2007 from the merger of the ice hockey sections of Stocksunds IF, Danderyds SK, and Enebybergs IF, the initials of which form the club's name. The club first earned promotion to the SDHL in 2014. They have stayed in the league since, although were forced to play in the relegation series in each of their first five SDHL seasons. Danderyd Municipality
Danderyd Municipality (; ) is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It is one of the smallest municipalities of Sweden, but the most affluent. Its seat is located in Djursholm and it is located within Stockholm urban area. The "old" rural municipality Danderyd was split up during the early 20th century, when Djursholm and Stocksund broke away in 1901 and 1910 respectively. Since 1971 Danderyd Municipality is reunified in approximately the old boundaries. The population in 2019 was 32,857. Michelle Löwenhielm
Michelle Karin Löwenhielm (born 22 March 1995) is a Swedish ice hockey forward and the captain of SDE Hockey in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She has represented in the women’s ice hockey tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics and at six IIHF Women's World Championships. International career Löwenhielm was selected for the Sweden women's national ice hockey team in the 2014 Winter Olympics. She played in all six games, scoring one goal and adding two assists. As of 2014, Löwenhielm has also appeared for Sweden at two IIHF Women's World Championships. Her first appearance came in 2012. Löwenhielm made four appearances for the Sweden women's national under-18 ice hockey team, at the IIHF World Women's U18 Championships, with the first in 2010. 2020–21 SDHL Season
The 2020–21 SDHL season was the 14th season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (; SDHL). The season began on 12 September 2020 and concluded on 26 February 2021. All ten teams were able to complete a full 36-game regular season. The season marked the return to play for the SDHL after the 2019–20 season championship finals were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden. League business Background Both Modo Hockey and Göteborg HC survived relegation in the 2019–20 SDHL season, having respectively defeated the Skellefteå AIK and the Malmö Redhawks of the Damettan. Brynäs IF (women)
Brynäs IF are an ice hockey team in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). They play in Gävle, on the eastern-central coast of Sweden, at the Monitor ERP Arena. A constituent part of the Swedish sports club Brynäs IF, they are the sister team of Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). History Between 2010 and 2013, the club advanced to the Riksserien playoff finals four seasons in a row, finishing in second place each time. In 2014, the club unveiled new jerseys, the only ones in Europe to be completely ad-free. Between 2013 and 2019, the club saw its fortunes decline dramatically, and in 2017, head coach Madeleine Östling left the club to coach Linköping instead. Leanne Ganney
Leanne Ganney (born 4 October 1991) is an English ice hockey player, currently serving as captain of SDE Hockey in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) and the national team of Great Britain (Team GB). Playing career At the age of 12, Ganney began playing with the Guildford Lightning in the highest division of English women's hockey. She would play with Guildford for four years, before switching to the Bracknell Queen Bees. In 2017, Ganney signed with SDE in Sweden. In her first season, she served as an assistant captain, and was named captain in 2018. In 2020, the team made the playoffs for the first time, as she put up 17 points in 36 games. Phoebe Stänz
Phoebe Stänz (born 7 January 1994) is a Swiss ice hockey forward and member of the Swiss national ice hockey team, currently playing with Leksands IF Dam of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She played college ice hockey with the Yale Bulldogs and her senior career has been played in the SDHL and Swiss Women's League (previously SWHL A and LKA). Playing career Stänz attended Choate Rosemary Hall Preparatory School in Wallingford, Connecticut during the 2012–13 school year. She was named MVP of the Prep School league and was honored as a 2013 Boston Globe All-Scholastic pick. "Kayleigh" is a song by British neo-prog band Marillion. It was released as the first single from the concept album ''Misplaced Childhood''. It is the band's most successful single in the UK, where it peaked at number two and stayed on the UK singles chart for 14 weeks. 2016-17 SDHL Season
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there were hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
